Scorpion Hike

The hike is a night hike during which we will be using ultraviolet flashlights to attempt to find scorpions which fluoresce brightly under UV. The hike is about two miles long and will take about two hours to complete.
What to bring with you:
- A sweater or sweatshirt, light jacket, or windbreaker for comfort. After the sun goes down, the temperature will drop.
- A camera or Smart Phone with a camera if you would like to take photos of any scorpions we may find along the way.
- If you have an ultraviolet (UV) flashlight, please bring it along with you. We will have a small number of them available to loan to people who need them, however.
- A small flashlight or headlamp for the way back.
